The foundation stone of the Mosque was laid by His Holiness Hadhrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad (May Allah strengthen his hand), the Spiritual Head of the Worldwide Ahmadiyya Muslim Community and fifth successor the Promised Messiah (as) on Friday 17th September 2010.
The work on the site officially commenced on the 1st of July 2012. The construction work of the project was handled by Coolsivna Construction ltd. After the initial development of the site, the project was later supervised by Tobins, a renowned engineering company. In addition to this the community’s very own Architectural Association known as IAAAE (International Association of Ahmadi Architects and Engineers) also supervised the project very closely and visited the site regularly during construction to impart their valuable suggestions.
